Typography speaks to us on many levels besides the most direct, literal interpretation of a sequence of printed words. But I'm going to avoid opening that Pandora's box for now because this graphic was not contructed with any significant meaning lurking in its design.
I cut apart some found type and imagery from a hastily snapped photo. Then I layered and reassembled the pieces until things seemed right or maybe wrong in the right ways. The animated background was crudely developed from the same source photo. Those dark circles were once recognizable as a pair of 25¢ coins atop an arrow pointing down.
